An email from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and Virginia State Police (VSP) states that a slow roll is scheduled for Interstate 81 tomorrow Oct. 26.

The slow roll will be held between exit 302 and 307 southbound for planned blasting operations near 81.

The planned blasting will affect Rt. 627 in Middletown and Rt. 277 in Stephens City for construction in Middletown.

The slow roll will start at 11 a.m. and end around noon and is subject to weather conditions.
