A press release from Bowman Library relays that they will be displaying the exhibit We Demand: Women’s Suffrage in Virginia.

The display and exhibit will be in the library lobby at 871 Tasker Rd. Stephens City through Dec. 4.

This is a traveling exhibition from the Library of Virginia with support from the task force to commemorate the Centennial Anniversary of Women’s Right to Vote.

The exhibit features text and images to trace the history of the women’s suffrage movement in Virginia from 1909 to 1920.
