WCSO arrest a couple in a drug investigation

Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) report that a traffic stop led to a drug arrest.

After making an illegal left turn from Strasburg Road onto Route 522 Warren County Sheriff’s Deputy T. Poe made the traffic stop of a white Mercury passenger vehicle.

Further investigation and search of the vehicle and its occupants revealed a bag containing approximately 22 grams of a white powdery substance believed to be crack cocaine.

An additional search recovered 9 small rocks of suspected cocaine along with drug paraphernalia and over $16,000 in United States currency.

The discovery led to the arrest of 68 year old Front Royal resident Arthur L. Summers and his passenger 58 year old Melissa P. Myers of Arlington.

Both are facing charges of possession of and intent to deliver crack cocaine.
