The Front Royal Warren County Economic Development Authority (EDA) held an executive committee meeting on Fri. Sept. 10 to address the departure of two of it’s board members.

Executive Director Douglas Parson will be leaving for a similar position with Fauquier County Oct. 1.

Assistant Gretchen Henderson left last month.

The committee is confident that they have a plan in place that will allow for a seamless transition for the EDA to remain a competitive entity for investment and expansion of business in Warren County.

The board did not have any specific details about the transition plan.
