Paint party for Strasburg girls basketball

The Crafting Underground is hosting a paint party to support the Strasburg middle school, JV, and varsity girls basketball teams.

The event will be held at the Strasburg Community Center from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday.

Tickets are still available on their Eventbrite page.

Master artist Janae Jenkins and her assistant, Debbie Benson, will lead the class and have all the needed supplies ready to go.

Finger foods and nonalcoholic refreshments also come with the purchase of a ticket.

Local chefs and farmers partner for BRSFF

The culinary community from around the area is coming together for the Blue Ridge Sprouts Food Festival.

West Oaks Farmers Market is hosting the event which will run from 11:30 am – 5:00 pm.

This is a great opportunity to find out where your food comes from by meeting some local farmers.

Then you get to enjoy some of that local produce after being prepared by some of the top chefs in the region.

There will also be activities for kids and their admission is free.

Tickets are required for adults and available for purchase on their Eventbrite page.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Virginia FFA, Sustainability Matters, and a Farm Less Ordinary.

Ronnie Milsap headlines Patsy Cline Classic

Country Music Hall of Famer and Grammy Award winning artist Ronnie Milsap is bringing his talents to Winchester tonight.

Milsap is the headliner for the 11th Annual Patsy Cline Classic at Handley High School’s Patsy Cline Theater.

The event is being held to benefit the Winchester Education Foundation and Winchester Public Schools.

The show starts at 8 pm and tickets are still available through Eventbrite.
