Front Royal’s Hometown Halloween returns in 2021

Front Royal’s Hometown Halloween will return Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m..

According to a town news flash Mayor Chris Holloway wanted to bring back the celebration as a signature event for the town.

After the many closures and cancellations last year the mayor hopes to encourage families to enjoy the season and support local business.

During the event Main St. from N. Royal to Blue Ridge Ave. will be closed.

Chester St. from Main St. to Laura Virginia Hale Ave. will also be closed.

The family friendly event features Pumpkin Carving at noon hosted by C and C Frozen Treats.

A costume parade is scheduled at 4 and trick or treating along Main St. begins at 6.
