A fatal accident involving a Front Royal man Prince William Co.

Prince William County Police announced that they are continuing to investigate a fatal accident involving a Front Royal man.

The accident occurred Monday on Lee Highway past Pageland Lane in Gainesville.

The investigation indicates that 57 year old Front Royal resident John Andrew Uber lost control of his 2007 Ford Mustang.

Uber apparently left the roadway running onto the shoulder and over corrected.

The north bound vehicle traveled along the gravel shoulder then returned to the road and crossed into the southbound lanes.

It looks as though the vehicle then left the road a second time striking a tree and caught fire.

Uber was transported to the hospital where he died as a result of his injuries sustained in the accident.

This incident remains under investigation with authorities asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to please contact Prince William County police.
