As Earth Day is fast approaching on Monday, April 22nd it is time to celebrate the natural beauty of our area.

Check out Shenandoah National Parks, fee free day, kick off to National Park Week today, April 20th.

Browntown is hosting their annual Redbud Festival today from 9 am to 3 pm.

Enjoy scenic Browntown, they will have craft vendors, a duck race, bake sale, live music, food and plant sales.

The Town of Front will celebrate “Lone Pine Day” on Sunday, April 21st, from 10 am to 3 pm on Main Street.

There will be over 40 vendors, live demonstrations, a petting zoom and more!

SNP kicks off National Park Week

Today is a fee free day at Shenandoah National Park which kicks off National Park week.

Today the National Park Service app becomes available for download and the Jr. Ranger page goes live on the Shenandoah National Park website.

Monday through Thursday this week local artist Betty Gatewood will launch a watercolor workshop video each day at 2 p.m..
