HSWC takes 4th annual Polar Plunge
The Humane Society of Warren County is hosting their 4th Annual Polar Plunge today at the Front Royal 4-H Center.
The weather is fitting as it will be about 43 degrees at noon when participants take a dip into Lake Culpeper to help raise awareness and funds for the Humane Society.
After the plunge, enjoy some treats from the food trucks or a S’more around the fire pit.

Pumpkin Festival at Marker Miller Orchard
Marker Miller Orchard is hosting a Pumpkin Festival today from 9 am to 5 pm.
Guests can pick their own pumpkins from the patch or select one they have already picked.
There will also be all kinds of pumpkin foods like pumpkin pie, rolls. bars, and donuts.
Craft vendors and food trucks will also be on hand with barbeque, kettle corn, and more.
The orchards will also be open for apple picking and make sure to take a trip on their cow train for a scenic wagon ride.
Blandy Farm’s 32nd Annual Garden Fair
The 32nd Annual Garden Fair hosted by Blandy Experimental Farm is back for Mother’s Day weekend.
This year’s event is held at the Clarke County Fairgrounds from 9 am – 4 pm Saturday and Sunday.
This plant sale will everything you can imagine from unique plants and trees to gardening accessories as well as experts to provide tips on how to help your plants flourish.
The event will also feature live music and food trucks.
Entry costs $10 per car load with proceeds going to the Virginia State Arboretum at Blandy Farm.
