ABC News reports a former Rocky Mount Virginia Police Officer has been found guilty for his actions at the US Capitol on Jan. 6.

A friend and former fellow Rocky Mount Police Officer Jacob Fracker also entered the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Fracker pleaded guilty and testified against Robertson as part of his plea agreement.

Robertson was found guilty of obstructing an official proceeding, obstructing officers during civil disorder, entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds with a dangerous weapon.

The weapon was reportedly a large wooden stick that Robertson had with him.

Robertson was also found guilty of disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct in a capitol building and obstruction of an official proceeding.

The jury deliberated for 15 hours after the five day trail that focused on very specific details of Robertson’s actions on January 6.

This was the second trail on the January 6 Capitol incident.

A Texas man was indicted in March on all five of his charges.

Robertson plans to appeal the jury’s verdict.
