A press release from the Clarke County Board of Supervisors reports an important session on the changes in this years deer hunting season.

Next Tuesday Oct. 19 Clarke County Board of Supervisors meeting will have Virginia Department of Wildlife Biologist Fred Frenzel present a program on the changes in the deer hunting season.

Frenzel will also cover coyote bounties and game bird preserves in his presentation.

The meeting and presentation will take place at 6:30 at the Clarke County Government Center the second floor at 101 Chalmers Court Berryville.

There have been significant changes to deer hunting in Clarke, Frederick, Shenandoah and Warren Counties for 2021.

The Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) had to make those changes in those counties because of chronic wasting disease.

Meanwhile Page County deer hunting season has changed little this year according to the press release.
