Winchester SPCA and Frederick Co. Parks and Recs team up
This Saturday Oct. 16 from 10 to 11 a.m. Clearbrook Park Frederick County Parks and Recreation and Esther Boyd animal shelter team up for a free event.
According to the Frederick County government social media site the Paws to Pavement event features several adoptable dogs.
These dogs will be at the James Wood Shelter at Clearbrook Park for you to meet and get to know.
Volunteers will pick a pup and take it on a walk around the park’s trails.
This will help promote animal adoption for better quality of life for the shelter dogs.
The social media site states that a special Halloween treat will also be available at the event.
This partnership between Frederick County Parks and Esther Boyd animal shelter helps promote wellness, adoptable dogs and community parks according to the social media post.
