A subject described as a white male, short, skinny, bald somewhere around 40 years of age with a deep voice attacked a Sherando Park Ranger Monday night.

The man dressed in black carrying a backpack approached the ranger as she was locking up.

After asking the ranger for money and the ranger refusing a scuffle ensued.

Despite being cut in the upper body and left arm the ranger managed to chase the assailant away.

Authorities attempted to track the man to no avail.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office do not approach the suspect as he is obviously armed and dangerous.
