Governor Youngkin is celebrating the opening of the 10 miles of Express Lanes to Fredericksburg later this year.

The 670 million dollar project was a partnership between VDOT and TransUrban broke ground in 2019.

The 10 mile toll lanes expanded 95 and 395 Express lanes from Washington DC to Fredericksburg with additional access to Route 17 through Court House and Russell Roads.

These high occupancy lanes will help reduce traffic congestion in one of the most congested regions nationwide.
