Because of Federal subsides the City of Winchester is able to offer residents free WinTran services.

Beginning July 1 and continuing through July 2022 all passengers ride free thanks to surplus funds.

For that 24 months the buses will operate at no cost to the city at a savings of almost $325,000 so passengers will ride free for that period.
