Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office

Two Edinburg men are facing drug charges following a search warrant executed Friday, August 7th, by the Northwest Virginia Regional Drug Task Force.

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office says investigators executed the warrant in Edinburg around 5 a.m. Friday.

Several thousand dollars in cash, cocaine and electronic devices were seized during the search.

The investigation led to multiple arrest warrants, which were executed later Friday. Forty-year-old Jose Antonio Quinones-Arroyo of Edinburg was arrested on three counts of distributing a Schedule One or Two controlled substance.

Thirty-four-year-old Erick Garcia-Ramos, also of Edinburg, was arrested on a charge of  possessing a Schedule One or Two controlled substance with the intent to distribute or sell.

Both men were transported to the Rappahannock Shenandoah Warren Regional Jail, where they are being held without bond.

The charges are allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
