Fri. morning at 3 a.m. Front Royal Police and Emergency Personnel were called back to the Riverton Junction on Depot Ave..

Officials found Norfolk Southern employee Willie Ezra Phillips of Lesage West Virginia had been killed in an accident.

During the clean up of the 16 car train derailment the 36 year old Phillips was fatally injured in an accident at the scene.

The incident is still under investigation but no foul play is suspected at this time.
