The Inaugural Geneva Jackson Cake Baking Contest will be held today to benefit the Laurel Center.

The event will take place at the Clarke County Farmers’ Market on Main Street in Berryville.

All cakes must be entered by 10 am and certified food judge and legendary cook Geneva Jackson will begin judging at 10:30.

The entry fee is $10 per cake with all proceeds going to the Laurel Center.

Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 frosted and un-frosted entries.
