Furever Friday – Noel

Noel is a sweet little girl that came to us as a stray who was never reclaimed. We don’t know anything about her past
life but we want to ensure her future is bright and full of love, as she deserves. Noel has been nothing but a sweet baby
since her arrival and we just know, she is going to make someone very happy!

We have not dog tested Noel yet but plan to in the upcoming week. We believe she would do well with kids.

Noel is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and 4DX tested (all negative).

Furever Friday – Meet Kevin

Kevin loves lounging on the bed in the living room here at the shelter but he’d much rather be cuddling with you on your bed in his furever home. Kevin has been at the shelter for 390 days and is still just as happy, goofy, playful and loving as the first day he got here. He doesn’t know why he’s here but he has made the best of it. We love him for that. We know you would too. He is about 9 years old and a lab mix. Apply today on our website or give us a call at 540-635-4734 for more information.

Furever Friday – Spanky

Meet Spanky!

This month we are trying something new – BLIND DATES! You tell us what type of personality you want in a dog and let us choose your perfect match. Think eHarmony, but like, for pets. pHarmony, if you will… Even if you end up leaving with a different animal, your adoption fee is half off for participating in our blind date special.  Why are we doing blind dates?

Spanky is one of those reasons. He acts tough and intimidating in his kennel but is a big silly baby outside! He is 1 year old, neutered, vaccinated, chipped and ready for love! He met another pup this week and was so excited to play with her, he also did well meeting our resident cat, Larry.

Don’t judge too quickly when you see these dogs at the lowest point in their life. They’re amazing and can’t wait to prove it to you. They just want YOUR attention.

Furever Friday : Chewy

registration open polar plunge

Chewy, short for Chewbacca, was surrendered due to no fault of his own. He is a 1 and a half year old Cocker Spaniel Chihuahua mix. We were told he would prefer a home with no other dogs and no cats. He seems to do okay with Larry here at the shelter but we still definitely recommend using caution! We do believe a house with no small kids would be best for him.

Chewy absolutely LOVES to play with his toys! He really enjoys going on walks and does very will on leash.

Chewy is now neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and 4DX tested(all negative) Now all he needs is his furever family to come adopt him! If you interested in Chewy please submit an adoption application to our website! If you have any questions regarding Chewy, give us a call!
