Major improvements will begin at 3 intersections in Luray this week and will continue for the next eight months.

The intersections affected will include Northcott Drive and West Main Street, Northcott Dr and Lee Highway, and West Main Street and Lee Highway.

Construction is planned to start on April 20th and will shut down a portion of Northcott Drive.

Motorists should be aware of lane shifts or closures in that area until completion of the project.

General Excavation Inc. of Warrenton was awarded the $1.6 million contract by VDOT with completion scheduled for December.
