The City of Winchester’s social media page announced the hiring of Alfredo Velasquez.

Velasquez has taken the job as the new Zoning Administrator for the City of Winchester.

A 2017 graduate of James Madison University (JMU) Velasquez  holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography.

Velasquez formerly worked as the Geographic Information System (GIS) Coordinator and planner for the town of Front Royal.

Before working for Front Royal Velasquez was a systems analyst for the City of Harrisonburg.
