Mayfield, KY Relief

NW Works facility manager Jake Wharton and the Mayor of Middletown Charles Harbaugh IV are taking donations for

those affected in Mayfield, Kentucky. If you would like to donate the drop off locations

are Access Independence, Inc., The Town of Middletown, Shaffer’s BBQ & Market, as well as NW Works.

They’re leaving on Wednesday December 15th.

Some of the items needed are lighters, candles, flashlights, batteries, chapstick, kids coloring books, toys,

underwear, socks, OTC medications, blankets, water, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies.

Winchester teen gives back to the community

Winchester teen Kate Colley suffered child abuse at the age of 4.

During her recovery she was given a comfort bag containing a blanket stuffed animal and other items.

Now that Kate is older she is giving back with the My Bag Project.

Now Kate and her mother have distributed over 100 bags with help from the Winchester Police Department.

These comfort bags contain many donated items if you would like to help with donations go to the MyBag Project on facebook.
