The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) report the arrest of 2 on abuse charges.

On April 25 the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

An online account traced to the Mount Jackson area indicated the discussion of sexual abuse of children and sharing of images.

The trace led to a residence in the 300 block of Lutz Hollow Road and a search warrant was obtained.

Gregory Allen Brill and Natasha Dawn Lavinia Bentley were identified as the suspects and were taken into custody April 29.

The 42-year-old Brill is charged with one count of use of a communications system for the purpose of procuring or promoting the use of a minor in lascivious acts.

Brill was maintaining a custodial or supervisory relationship of a stepchild under the age of 15.

The 42-year-old Bentley is facing 2 counts of carnally knowing an animal.

Both are currently being held at the Rappahannock Shenandoah Warren Regional jail without bond.
