Hometown Halloween will take over downtown Front Royal tomorrow evening.
The Town of Front Royal, the Front Royal-Warren County Chamber of Commerce, the Merchants on Main Street, and Front Royal IBA have partnered together for this event.
Things will get started with pumpkin carving at noon.
A costume parade will follow at 4:00 pm then Trick-or-Treating along Main Street at 6:00 pm.
Portions of Main Street and Chester Street will be closed for the festivities so plan accordingly.

Authorities prepare for a long Halloween weekend with two days of activities.

Front Royal’s Hometown Halloween will return Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m..
According to a town news flash Mayor Chris Holloway wanted to bring back the celebration as a signature event for the town.
After the many closures and cancellations last year the mayor hopes to encourage families to enjoy the season and support local business.
During the event Main St. from N. Royal to Blue Ridge Ave. will be closed.
Chester St. from Main St. to Laura Virginia Hale Ave. will also be closed.
The family friendly event features Pumpkin Carving at noon hosted by C and C Frozen Treats.
A costume parade is scheduled at 4 and trick or treating along Main St. begins at 6.

A town of Front Royal Police Department news release reports the town trick or treating hours for this year will be Sun. Oct. 31 from 6 to 9 p.m..
The Police Department recommends parents travel with their children, wear reflective clothing, carry a flashlight and go to only homes with porch lights on.
The Hometown Halloween celebration will also be taking place at the Main Street Gazebo for a family friendly safe celebration.
The Front Royal Police will also be adding additional patrols to ensure community safety.
