It is Furrever Friday!
This week we are featuring River- here is what the Humane Society of Warren County had to say about this sweet puppy-
"River has been with us for several months. She was surrendered with a known issue with her leg. We had her examined by several veterinarians, and raised the funds to have her leg amputated. It was determined that there were birth defects with the knee, hip and pelvic bone. At just 1 year old, we knew River would be able to make a full recovery and live a normal life as a three legged dog.
River has been an angel through the entire process. You wouldn't know that she has been through hell, she is always happy, ready to walk, greet everyone she meets, and nothing but a doll baby.
We don't know how she will do with dogs but plan to dog test her soon. She is a pitbull - beagle mix, and the most beautiful color. Her winning personality is the real star for River."
