The City of Winchester announced through their CitE-Newsletter that increased emergency presence and personnel is to be expected at the Shihadeh Innovation Center today Aug. 5 through Wed. Aug 10.

The activity will take place behind John Handley High School today Aug. 5 until 6 p.m. for training exercises.

The activity will include Winchester Police, Fire and Rescue personnel and vehicles between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. each weekday.

Training and exercises are scheduled to be conducted today Aug. 5 and again Mon. Aug. 8 through Wed. Aug. 10.

The training exercises will involve several emergency agencies in the City of Winchester and may cause some brief heavy traffic near and around Handley High School.
