FCPS hosts Community Conversations with Superintendent

Frederick County Public Schools announced that they will host their first Community Conversation with Superintendent George Hummer on Thursday, January 4th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Orchard View Elementary School.

The event allows parents, staff, and community members to meet with Dr. Hummer and ask questions or provide feedback.

Future Community Conversations with the Superintendent are scheduled for March 25th, April 17th, and May 14th.

Three budget town hall meetings are also scheduled for February.

Dr. Hummer said, “Feedback from all of our constituents is of utmost importance to me. Every voice matters, and the involvement of our students, families, staff members and community members is necessary to determine what we need to start, stop, and continue in order to help us strive to do what is best for all of our students.”
