A Winchester resident is gracing the stage at the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival this weekend.

Meisha Herron is opening for Don McLean Saturday night in Orkney Springs with her own spin on some of your favorite hits as well as her own original songs.

She studied guitar at Columbia College Chicago and has been playing music for over 40 years.

In January, Meisha opened for Buddy Guy at his internationally acclaimed jazz and blues club “Legends” where she previously was a regular acoustic performer.

She first visited the Shenandoah Valley in 2019 and fell in love with the area’s vibrant music scene.

You can find Meisha playing at all your favorite wineries, breweries, and outdoor festivals.

She graced the stage of the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival in 2021 opening for the Four Tops and more recently with The Spinners.

Tickets are still available for the performance here.
