WDSS Employment Open House

The Winchester Department of Social Services is hosting an employment open house on Tuesday December 6th

from 4-7 p.m. at the office building located at 24 Baker Street in Winchester.

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with current employees and explore available career options.

Pre-registration in not required to attend, it is encouraged.

Onsite interviews will be granted to candidates who possess a baccalaureate in the human services field

or in any field accompanied by a minimum of two years appropriate and related experience in a human services-related area.

VEC offers virtual job fairs in September

The Virginia Employment Commission (VEC) is hosting a series of virtual job fairs called Live, Love, and Work in Virginia.

Opportunities will be listed from Northern Virginia, Shenandoah Valley, and Charlottesville on Sept. 8 from 1 until 5 p.m..

Job opportunities session for Eastern Virginia, Norfolk, Hampton, and Richmond on Sept. 9 again 1 to 5 p.m..

Opportunities will be listed for Southwestern and South Central Virginia from 1 to 5 p.m. Sept. 14.

Job seekers are offered the chance to view jobs, post resumes and apply two days before the each event.

Warren County job fair tomorrow 8/5

Warren County Department of Social Services will host a job fair tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m..

Over 20 local employers will be represented with education and training opportunities as well.

The job fair is at the health and Human Services complex gymnasium at 465 W. 15 St. Front Royal.

Virginia Career Works is offering a free state wide online job fair with hundreds of job opportunities.

Job seekers need to have a resume ready and be prepared for interviews.
