A body is recovered from the Shenandoah River in Shenandoah Co.

Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reports that a body has been recovered from the North Fork of the Shenandoah River.

The body has been positively identified as Judith “Judy” Lehman Hollon.

Hollon was reportedly last seen Wednesday, February 7 around 9 p.m.

Hollon was seen in her home in the 4000 block of Riverview Drive in Toms Brook.

It is believed that Hollon left her home at approximately 1:50 a.m. on February 8.

It is known that Hollon suffered from dementia and the search was launched by Shenandoah County Authorities on February 8.

On Thursday, February 8 Hollon’s body was recovered from the river around 9:11 a.m.

The family was notified of the discovery by Shenandoah County Sheriff Tim Carter.
