News Maker Kevin Owens on First Night Middletown
Scott Bradley is speaking with Kevin Owens on the first ever, First Night Middletown.
New Year’s Eve from 6-9 at the Town Hall, there will be live performances and family fun.

Middletown announces New Year’s plans
The Town of Middletown announced their new family friendly event, First Night Middletown.
The celebration will take place at the Town Office on New Years Eve from 6 pm – 9 pm.
The event is in partnership with the Winchester Model Railroad Club which is moving their headquarters to Middletown and helping to rebuild the B&O Railroad Station.
Visitors will get a glimpse at the new station as the top floor of the office will feature model, operating railroad layouts.
There will also be kids activities, magical performances from Kevin Owens and live music.
Old Town Winchester announced earlier this year that their annual First Night celebration will no longer take place.

SamiCon at Samuel’s Library
Samuel’s Public Library is hosting SamiCon today from 10 am – 4:30 pm.
As a part of Free Comic Book Day, families are invited to the library for a free comic and a day of video game themed fun.
SamiCon will feature a coding workshop from Coding Ninjas, Pokemon cookie decorating, arcade machines, escape rooms, and more.
There will also be a costume contest and performances by local magician Kevin Owens.
