Apple Blossom announces new events and changes to fan-favorites

Apple Blossom

The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival announced some changes to this year’s events as well as a few new additions.

The Festival will celebrate its 97th iteration and 100th anniversary this year.

The gap is due to the three years the festival was not held during WWII.

A birthday party will be held to recognize the longevity at the Wilkins Athletics Event Center on April 30th.

Some of the other new events are still in the planning stages.

The festival kick-off Wine Fest will no longer offer non-drinking tickets.

Seven fan favorite events were changed this year to open only for those 21 or older.

This includes most of the Friday Luncheons which are open bar events.

The Pumps and Pearls Ladies Party has changed locations and will now be held at The George Washington Hotel.

The Ladies Commonwealth Luncheon has been moved to Thursday afternoon, also at The GW.

The Stag Luncheon will now feature a live DJ in addition to live music.
