News Maker Stacy McFarland on blood drives

Monday, January 29 the American Red Cross will host a blood drive in honor of the West Virginia State Troopers shot in the line of duty.

We spoke to the Executive Director for the Greater Shenandoah Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross Stacy McFarland in our latest news maker.

Stacy tells us that the Red Cross is in an Emergency Blood Shortage situation due to weather conditions canceling an incredible number of drives.

She also gives us the connection for making an appointment for Monday’s blood drive honoring the officers at the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.

Stacy also reviews how much easier it is to give with the Rapid Pass option.

Even if you can’t make Monday’s blood drive use this link to set an appointment using your zip code to make a more convent appointment for yourself.
