Stephens City Police investigate over $1,000 in credit card fraud

Stephens City Police are reporting the investigation of credit card fraud and diesel fuel theft.

On March 7 two vehicles were seen on video surveillance at Freedom AG and Energy on Valley Pike between approximately 6 and 6:30 p.m.

Persons in the vehicles are believed to have used two compromised credit card numbers to make four separate purchases of diesel fuel.

The fraudulent purchase totaled $1,347.34.
