Filming in Winchester tomorrow 5/15
Filming will take place tomorrow from 2 to 8 p.m. in Winchester.
The action will take place around the newly constructed Crossover Boulevard overpass that connects Winchester and Frederick County.
Fire and Rescue personal are warning of an abundance of activity as a statewide recruitment video is being filmed.
The public is asked to keep it’s distance while filming is taking place.

Belle Grove Plantation host living history demonstration
The Cider Creek Battlefield Foundation presents a living history weekend at Belle Grove Plantation Middletown.
Historians will demonstrate many aspects of life in from the mid-19 century.
Demonstrations will be available for the family with historians in full dress from the period.
Demonstrations include period photography, a recruit muster, practice drill, games, cooking class and more.
Activities begin early tomorrow May 15 and last through the weekend.

Shenandoah 4-H offers scholarship
Shenandoah County 4-H past and present Future Farmers of America (FFA) members are eligible for a scholarship.
The scholarship is 4-H Dairy Club endowed and meant to further education.
Preference is given to candidates who have dairy experience but any area of study will qualify.
Applications are available from school guidance departments, FFA advisors or the Shenandoah County Office of Virginia Cooperative Extension.
Applications must be submitted by May 15.
