Today 5/18 is Our Shot Day in Virginia

emergency funding for homeless

Recent statistics indicate that COVID-19 infection numbers are the lowest they have been in over a year.

In an effort to keep those numbers low today May 18 has been declared “Our Shot Day” a Statewide Day of Action.

The state health departments are asking vaccinated individuals to become vaccination advocates.

In an effort to encourage others to get vaccinated we are asked to help others set up appointments and to share our vaccination stories on social media.

Do what we can do to encourage others to get the COVID-19 vaccination.

A website has been developed with ideas on how to the get the message across called educate to vaccinate here.
