Moms in Motion brings awareness to concussions
Moms in Motion brings awareness to concussions, a traumatic brain injury produced by a bump or blow to the head.
They can even be caused by a jolt to the body that causes the brain to move within the skull.
These injuries are invisible and don’t require bandages or crutches, but they can have lifelong side effects.
Concussions have become more common within the U.S., and National Concussion Day is September 20th.
By raising awareness, more concussions will be treated properly, and support can be provided to survivors to aide in the long-term effects.
