Middletown Police Department announced the acquisition of a new vehicle at no cost to taxpayers.

Through a Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services American Rescue Plan Act grant the Middletown Police Department is able to add a 2023 Ford F150 to their arsenal.

The grant was awarded to Middletown Police Department in June and allows the department to purchase the vehicle at no cost to taxpayers.

The vehicle has been dressed and is ready for service to the community.

The truck is currently assigned to Officer Sandy Seabaugh and will be used for official business.

Among other duties the truck will be used to carry equipment for special events along with the transportation of evidence.
