The Newtown Heritage Festival is back to a full event this Memorial Day Weekend.

After two years of pandemic the festival makes a return to an in person celebration in Stephens City May 26.

The festival returns with a full slate of events as well as new activities.

We spoke to Newtown Festival Chairperson Tootie Rinker in our latest news maker.

Tootie tells us about the success of last year’s virtual event.

She also tells us how you can volunteer with the festival this year.

Newtown Heritage Festival’s virtual version

curbside recycling ends

Newtown Heritage Festival returns this year but in a virtual version called Newtown on the Net.

This free event will take place on NewtownHeritageFestival.org and begin at noon and last into the evening.

Participants will be able to take a virtual tour of historic Stephens City and learn about some of the local businesses.

Some of the top local musical acts will grace their virtual stage including Souled Out, The Robbie Limon Band, and more.
