National Teen Driver Safety Week

Warren County Sheriff's Office

National Teen Driver Safety week is starting today October 18th. The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration

is teaming up with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office to help empower parents to discuss the importance of driving safety with their

young drivers. Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of deaths for teens between 15 -18 years old.

The NHTSA offers parents tips and a framework for having discussions with their teen drivers about risky driving behaviors that can lead

to fatal consequences.
