With nicer weather on the way Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) wants to remind us to know before we dig.

As we do every first Fri. of the month we check in with SVEC to see what the cooperative has for the month.

This month we spoke with SVEC President and CEO Greg Rogers about knowing before you dig in our latest news maker.

Greg reminds us how important it is to call 811 before starting any digging project on your property.

He reminds us that if you should break an underground utility you could face fines.

Greg also reminds us that you should call at least three days before the project begins.
