USDA projections of food insecurity in Warren County

The United State Department of Agriculture (USDA) at feedingamerica.org is projecting that close to 4,000 people will be food insecure in Warren County VA..

Often families have to decide between food and house hold or medical necessities.

Camping for Hunger is striving to combat that by assisting C-Cap with their food distribution efforts November 15-20.

As C-Cap Board President Larry Elliott tells us this is the biggest effort to collect food and monetary donations and helps them through the winter into the spring.

This a major effort that would not be possible without your support and we and C-Cap are grateful and look forward to seeing you at the bus at 1106 Elm St. Front Royal Nov. 15-20.

You can make a secure donation on line right here as well.
