The Warren County Sheriff’s Office reports that their units tracked and helped apprehend a Pennsylvania fugitive.

On February 3 the WCSO was called in to assist the Virginia State Police (VSP) in a man hunt.

A fugitive from Minersville, Pennsylvania was tracked to the Guard Hill Road area of Warren County.

Warren County Canine units were called in to track the suspect.

Deputies Anderson and Gregory with their partners Rooster and Roman respectively covered and tracked nearly a mile and a half to bring the suspect to justice.

The two units tracked the suspect to a rooftop apparently in an attempt to avoid being tracked.

Despite the effort Scott Allen Parsons was tracked and taken into custody by VSP.

The effort was only possible through the help of the Canine units.

If you live in the Guard Hill Road area, you may have received the Rave Mobile Safety Alert about the incident the morning of February 3.
