WPR hosts holiday open house

Winchester Parks and Recreation is hosting a holiday open house today from 9 am – 11 am at the Rec Center in Jim Barnett Park.

The event is free and will feature a variety of activities including an adult Zumba class set to holiday music.

For the kids, their will be an elf scavenger hunt, ornament decorating, and more.

A Gingerbread House station will be open but will require pre-registration.

Raffles will be held to benefit the Winchester Parks Foundation.

Some of the prizes include gift cards to Old Town Winchester Businesses, Shenandoah University and Winchester Royals gear, and more.
