As of 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, SVEC is working as quickly and safely as possible to restore about 660 outages, at about a dozen locations, in an effort to have everyone back on by Wednesday morning. At this time, because of the severity of storm damage, there are situations in Frederick County and northern Shenandoah County that may not have service restored until daylight Wednesday.

We advise members to please make appropriate accommodations if they live in those areas. We have as many crews working as possible to avoid lengthy outages.
