Salvation Army kicks off it’s Red Kettle Campaign and needs volunteers
The Salvation Army of Front Royal kicks off its red kettle campaign on Friday Nov. 12 with a ribbon cutting ceremony at Rural King.
According to a Chamber of Commerce news letter the ribbon cutting is at 10 a.m..
Funds generated by the campaign go directly back into the communities served by the Salvation Army.
According to the Salvation Army’s email on the subject the Front Royal Corps assisted almost 2,000 families from Oct. 2020 to Sept. 2021 with rent/mortgage, utilities, hygiene, clothing and food needs.
The Front Royal Salvation Army serves Warren, Page, Rappahannock Counties as well as the town of Strasburg.

Volunteer bell ringers for the Kettle campaign can sign up in a number of ways including by going to RegisterToRing.com or by calling Captain Ann Hawk at (540) 635-4020.
Organizations are invited to adopt a day to ring individuals are invited to ring and a virtual bell ringing online opportunity is available this year as well.
