VSP continue to investigate a pedestrian hit in Warren County

An email from Virginia State Police (VSP) Public Information Officer Brent Coffey states that officials are investigating what is described as a serious accident in Warren County.

An unidentified female from Front Royal was driving on Remount Rd. when she attempted a left turn onto a private driveway but missed and ended up in a ditch.

A pedestrian from Front Royal attempted to assist the female when her vehicle was struck by a second vehicle.

The 55 year old unidentified pedestrian had to be transported to INOVA hospital in Fairfax with life threatening injuries.

The two drivers of the vehicles were transported to Warren Memorial Hospital.

The driver of the second vehicle a 62 year old unidentified male from Woodstock suffered serious injuries.

The female driver of the first vehicle suffered minor injuries.

This incident remains under investigation.
