Virginia receives $52 million for Affordable and Special Needs Housing

Governor Glenn Youngkin announced over $52 million in Affordable and Special Needs Housing loans which will be distributed to 49 developments across Virginia.

This will create over 3,200 units for low and extremely low income households with a mix of rentals, permanent supportive housing, and homes for sale.

The loans were distributed by the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development through a combination of state and federal resources.
