DARS has resources for winter weather

The Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) reminds us that Winter is here and it is time to be prepared.

If you or someone you know has a disability, being prepared for winter weather is part of workforce readiness.

One DARS recommendation is to have extra batteries for medical devices on hand.

Also, have enough prescriptions for if you are shut in for a week.

Make sure everyone is prepared for whatever Old Man Winter throws at us!
