The Christmas for Kentucky event was a huge success Thank You

An email from the organizer of Christmas for Kentucky, Jen Avery announced the success of the project.

The idea of the project was to collect toys for the children of Kentucky.

Some children of Kentucky would have been left without a Christmas after the devastation of the tornadoes.

The local Rotary Clubs of Warren County made matching donations for the amount of toys collected.

With the matching funds and the generosity of the community over $25,000 in toys was delivered Sunday to Mayfield Kentucky.

Though the work of Front Royal Police Chief Magalis, Jen Avery, Ellen Aders and Robert Hupman and others the toys made it to Mayfield in time for Christmas.

The organizers of the Christmas for Kentucky project would like to thank all those involved and most of all the donors who made the effort such a success.
